The scope of services, schedule, price, payment requirements, cancellation terms, and deliverables for each project will be stated in a separate written agreement. Unless that agreement states otherwise, a nonrefundable 50% initial payment is required before work begins, and the remaining balance must be paid before final files are delivered.

Although copyediting and proofreading are performed carefully, no editorial service can guarantee that a document will be completely free of errors or achieve a particular result.
